Bathroom & Bats

I managed to get a plumber to come around at short notice to remove the bath and move the washing machine and dryer upstairs. Next week we are having the kitchen floor done so it made sense (as we have to move everything out anyway) to get it done now. He did a great job but persuaded Robin that it wasnt a good idea for Robin to help him carry the washing machine upstairs (good job!) - so he is coming back tomorrow with a friend to get that done! In the evening I went into London for a bat survey. This is the sight from my seat - it was an abandoned building in the middle of a housing estate - you cant actually see how much rubbish was there! No bats in the building not suprisingly but a few going over - I can only say that nature is very resilient - cant understand why a bat would be there! I was actually most worried about rats and local residents - but all OK - glad to get home!
