Busy day

Friday 17th November 2023

Off to Wokingham today as I need to visit the dentist and hygienist for checkups. While we are there we take the opportunity to visit people! First up Lynne and Dave, we spent a lovely morning with them catching up on everything - thier house is looking great! The after the dentist we went over to mum's for lunch. She also had a few jobs fro Robin to do around the house! Dorothy wasnt there as she had a doctors appoinment, but mum called as we were driving home. Dorothy has skin cancer on her scalp - it will mean 6 weeks of a chemotherapy cream to the scalp and then potentially an operation. She will get chemotherapy symptoms but its not clear how bad they will be. It was all a bit of a shock and I was driving at the time so not sure that I really caught all the details. Will need to call them again tomorrow. The disused British Legion building at the end of the road has been converted into an antiques place (we have lots in Lewes!) and tonight it was open to us Morris Roaders for a preview and some sparkling wine! It looks good and also nice that the buidling is being looked after and used. We saw this picture but it doesnt really look like Laura so we didnt buy it!!
