I have to admit that our vegetable gardening this year has been very poor compared to last year. We have hardly any tomatoes - a combination of poor weather and putting them in a different place that doesn't get as much sun. The potatoes we grew in the black bins didn't come to much - a few meals at most. And our chillis are also not so good. A bit disappointing - I hope that we can get that allotment next year - I am not going to grow vegetables again in the garden - too much space for too little return.
However we did pick some apples from the tree in the garden in Cirencester and last night had a delicious apple crumble - the first one I have made for very many years. So all is not lost!!
