Holt Copse

I sent my management plan for Holt Copse compartments 1,2 and 3 (the one that I did for my assignment in January) to Colin and Mike of the Holt Copse Conservation Volunteers. They really liked it and so today we met up in Holt Copse to take a walk around and discuss next steps. Really great discussion. They are now fired up to complete the management plan and get going with some changes - which is great. I am pleased that it made a difference it will be interesting to see it develop over the next few months. Not long after we got back someone from the Thames Valley Environmental Records Centre contacted Mike to see if anyone would be interested in taking part in some of their surveys in Berkshire. That would be an amazing and interesting opportunity for me - and it could count to my 30 days work experience. Keep your fingers crossed for that!
