When we were in Malaysia we used to have jasmine tea - it starts out as the small ball (bottom picture) then when you add hot water to it is slowly opens up into a beautiful flower (and also jasmine tea!).

While we were in Brighton at the weekend we went to the Chinese supermarket (Yum Yum Oriental Supermarket on Sydney Street). We normally go over to one in Reading but because of lockdown we havent been there for ages - so Robin stocked up. Wanton wrappers, dumpling wrappers, pandan leaves and jasmine tea!

We tried out the tea today and it was amazing - a bit slow to open but once it got going - the picture doesn't do it justice. Well worth trying for a special occasion.

So what with my radish cake and all the wrappers and pandan leaves we will be having a dimsum meal here very soon!
