More museums

Today we visited the other museums in Ironbridge! The Ironbridge gorge museum, which has the original blast furnace. Enginuity which is really a hands on children’s museum. We didn’t have any children with us but we still tried everything, we weren’t the only adults doing the same!! They had a really useful poster about the formation of rock which helped explain why Ironbridge is so unique. Then we visited the Green Wood centre, they provide courses on owning woodland and using wood. They also have the most amazing cafe where we had an outstanding lunch! Definitely recommend. Back to the tent for dinner, it’s still very cold at night. The thermals have helped us get a better nights sleep. It’s hot during the day but as evening progresses more layers go on until by bedtime have thermal trousers plus fluffy pyjama bottoms, long sleeved thermal top, t shirt plus thick and fluffy hoody with the hood up. All ready for bed!!
