Oktoberfest

Lynne and Dave are round for the weekend to go to Lewes Oktoberfest this afternoon. In the morning we took a walk around town and went into the castle and museum. Shamefully we havent been to the castle since we moved here so having visitors is a good excuse to go! There werent many people there which is a shame as it is a lovely (if ruined) castle with an interesting history. We also went into the museum to watch and listen to the diorama - which is always Robins favourite bit of the tour! We also went along to Reeves photography again as they were still open for Artwave and have such a great collection of photos on show. Down to the station for a pizza beneath the arches and then up to the Town Hall for Oktoberfest. We hadnt really read the details and it turns out that it is Commercial Square Bonfire Society - they did a really good job and there were quite a few of them in fake laderhosen! No photos I am afraid! Afterwards we went to the Castle Chinese for a great meal. What a lovely day - very full now!
