Today was the day for knuckling down and getting my presentation nearly finished - but no! I got an email (as did what appears to be most of the Wednesday class) to say that we had been in contact with someone who tested positive and we need to self isolate for 14 days. We are all on a whatsapp group - I have never seen so many messages in one day!
Robin and I had already discussed what we would do if this happened - I will self isolate in the cottage in Cirencester. If we are in the same household then it makes things very difficult and puts Chris and Robin (who both work in a local shop that has a lot of elderly customers) at risk.
So I wrote out the shopping list for Robin and when he got back at 4pm he did the shopping and then I set off for Cirencester. Here are the photos of what he bought.
Is it enough for 14 days? Who knows I have never done this before. Some interesting items though. At least 10 bananas - so Robin is really trying to get that average banana per day number up! Lots of wine - good man! Some ready meals - which if you look carefully are all calorie controlled - he is obviously concerned about weight gain during isolation! Those odd white packages in the bottom picture are actually frozen Peking Chicken - given to us by the Broad Street Tavern during lockdown as they had to get rid of the food in their freezer - they are better than you might expect! Tonight was the calorie controlled fish pie - I cant recommend it - not enough seasoning.
Tomorrow I need to get on with the presentation!

Stay safe!
