Fish

I wasnt sure f the WIN walk was on today (some people were off on a trip) so I decided to go over just in case. The walk wasnt on but I ran into Philippa who had done hte same as me. We spent a lovely time having a chat and admiring the large numbers of grey mullet at the sluice gate today. We must have timed it just right because we could see them so clearly. I think they leave soon and I will miss them when they are gone! In the afternoon our chairs were returned, recovered and I really like them. Unfortunately one of the legs wouldnt attach correctly, so we kept it for now but it is for cats only!! He will come back to fix it next week. In the evening we went to the Cliffe bonfire society AGM (only because I am on bar duty afterwards so we felt we had to turn up). It went on far too long so I helped wash and dry all the glasses ready for bar opening (they kept the bar closed during the AGM itself which was a good idea!). Meeting finished and we were swamped!! but as the meeting had gone on for so long the bar was only open for about 45 minutes (everyone seemed to manage a few drinks though). Then clear up, load the van and go home!! Duty done!
