Rain!

Ove to Greystones Farm today to help out the Evenlode team with some training for Evenlode volunteers. It was a great day - lots of people turned up. We started with some presntations and demonstrations inside - the picture is our pee,poo and paper experiment - the kids love it of course!

Then off outside to do some river dipping and tracks and signs. Of course as soon as we stepped outside the heavens opened and it was a very wet group in the river!! Back for a lovely lunch then back outside again - I had a go at a journey stick - loved it I was very proud - but by now it wasn't just raining but thunder and lightning as well - so we went back under shelter. I drove back to Wokingham and then heard the news about the queen. I was surprisingly affected by it - it seems a really turbulant time at the moment in the world and she was a constant for so many years - somehow we hoped she was never going to go!
