A good day!

I planned on taking this afternoon off work as I need to work tomorrow morning. Fortuitously Charlotte contacted me this morning. She is in Brighton at lunchtime do I want to come over? Of course the answer is yes! We had a lovely time - walked along the seafront and then when James woke up we went and had lunch. He was really well behaved and sat in the high chair for an hour while we had a lovely lunch. It was a wonderful suprise day!

We have been planning our holiday and one of the big things to sort out is our housesitter. Yesterday we were in contact and they asked if there was anywhere that they could park his motorbike securely (as it got stolen last time!!). There's no secure space around where we live so I put a message out on our whatsapp group and this morning our neighbour across th road came over and said that Raf could park his bike in his front garden next to the house. See the picture above - its the only detached house on the road and has a very big wall in front of it!! Problem solved (and what a great neighbour!) so onto booking the holiday!
