A job!

Today I had a phone call with Richard and Paul from Phlorum Environmental & Ecological Consultancy Serving The UK (phlorum.com). They are an environmental consultancy based in Brighton and are looking for junior ecologists to help with survey work. Ella works for them and loves it there - unfortunately she will be leaving in a few weeks! I thought that it was going to be a chat and then an interview face to face when I got to Lewes but no. It also consisted of an identification test of plants, birds, reptiles bats etc. There were over 20 altogether - luckily I did OK. At the end of the call he offered me a zero hours contract - which is perfect - hopefully it means that I can get some experience before I leave university and then can see what happens next!

Later in the day Robin found these bird feathers - not so good on identifying them so if anyone knows what sort of bird they came from do let me know!
