A Lion!!

We went to mum and Dorothy's today for lunch. It rained and rained and rained, all the way there and back - so much surface water that we made a detour on the way back to make sure we didnt get stuck! Dorothy has gout in her foot which is really painful, and mum is prone to very low blood pressure if she stands up still for too long. This makes her feel very sick and she has to go and lie down. So they are splitting the household chores, Dorothy does the cooking as mum cant stand and Mum walks the dogs as Dorothy cant walk! Lunch was lovely - a three bird game roast.

Before Christmas we got a new sofa and also a lions head!!! We love them both so I thought I would show the off! The lions head is from an old fairground, it needs a little bit of TLC but is in very good condition considering! We do need the two chairs covered but overall the house is nearly finished!
