Adrian

Today was Adrian's cremation. It was at the City of London Crematorium and was a humanist service.

The service was really well done, Keith one of Adrian's brothers had done an amazing job of pulling everything and everyone together for the day. We had the opportunity afterwards of catching up with family and friends outside the cafe at the crematorium. Adrian was a really interesting guy, when he was younger he built a steel boat in Bristol and sailed it to the Caribbean with many adventures along the way as you can imagine - he was not a sailor! In later life he kept his family and friends very separate and we didnt see him much. Once he was in the hospice only Sally could visit him due to Covid, but all the family wrote him letters which he really appreciated. Covid has made death more difficult for everyone, hopefully those times are behind us.
