Airport today

Today I went to Heathrow Terminal 5 at midday to pick up Chris who was returning from Manchester. What a strange experience, there was literally no-one there! No taxi drivers with signs, a handful of passengers and about 2 people (including me!) at Costa. Chris flew to Manchester because it was over £100 cheaper than going by train. I dont see how we will address global warming while we have pricing like this - as Chris said - he knows that it is better to take the train but he couldn't afford to make that choice.

Robin and I also went to the cinema for the first time since I cant remember. Its our local Everyman which is very nice and it was great to go back - could do without having to wear the facemask while watching the film though. We saw The Father - what an amazing film, great acting and a very clever use of the set. Definitely recommend going - not cheerful though.
