We decided to go to the Albertina museum today (no more Christmas markets!) as they have the Durer hare that I love. The museum is great - they have kept about 18 state rooms as they were when it was a palace and then the rest of the building is an art gallery. The Durer was in one of the state rooms, it is a water colour from the 16th century (and not suprisingly is actually a copy, but a very good one!). We took a look around the art gallery - I have to say some of it was great and some of it was not to my taste! But I loved this painting of an elderly man by Albin Egger-Lienz. Then later back to the airport - where my silver card got us into a very very nice lounge and back to Charlottes - I stayed overnight as it was about 10pm by the time we got there.
