Art in the ice

Saturday 13th February 2021

Really cold overnight again so we went for a walk at 7:30 - it was still -4C - we dressed appropriately but still had cold fingers - decided to buy better gloves! We saw this pattern in one of the puddles around California Lake - Robin said it looks like Haida art. The Haida are one of the First Nation people from around Vancouver. When we were there last January we went to some great museums and galleries that showed their art.

I think it looks like a chickens head with the beak on the left hand side - I might draw it. What do you see?
