Not feeling 100% today but soldier in as we need to get back to Santiago. We took another walk up to the ocean in the morning. It was much more peaceful, very few people at that time of day. We walked past this church at 10am and the guy was dining the bells. Most small churches have a system where the bell chains are on the outside of the church tied up. I have been so tempted to ring some of them so it was great to see them being used.

We had a good wander round the lighthouse much easier this time as it wasn’t high tide!!
I tried to find where we had put in the scallop shells yesterday but failed.

This time we walked up to the top of the hill where we could see a cross. You can see from the photo that Muxia is a very small town on a peninsula.

In the past it was a fishing village and you can still see the old net driers down by the beach.

But that all seems to have stopped and it now caters to the tourists and pilgrims. We did find some great lace making which Robin reckons they do because it’s a bit like making fishing nets!! Then off to get on the bus. Public transport is always a bit hairy in Spain, in this case their systems are so poor that 50% of the QR codes don’t register properly. I felt sorry for the bus driver, he did his best but after a few tries just waves people on the bus. 3 hours bus drive back to Santiago. Now I don’t feel sorry for the driver he is a maniac but we make it back in one piece. I changed our booking from a form to a hotel room as I am still not feeling well. Hopefully better tomorrow.
