I realised that I just dont know enough about watercolours so today I started from the beginning. The great thing is there is so much information on youtube. First I practised the tree you can see - some background practice then the tree and splashes - the tutor online was busy demonstrating with a small baby in a front sling - great job! Flowers next and then lastly the dragonfly. Practice makes perfect they say so I think I will continue with this - learning a lot from Youtube!

I also finished the book I was reading - Wildwood by Roger Deakin. He is a great writer and also very knowledgeable. He died fairly young so the only book published during his lifetime was Waterlog - which really started the wild swimming movement in the UK. He sounded like an amazing person to know - I would have liked to have met him.

Its strange at the moment - all the days merge into one - I cant wait just to go somewhere different.

And funnily enough we are today. We are off now to get Robin's first vaccination - it means using the car for the first time in weeks (hope it works!) and driving to Fleet. I presume it is one of the big vaccination centers - we will find out!
