Bats at Glynde

We got back about lunchtime after the dentist and picking up the cats - I think they are happy to be back home. In the evening I went for a bat survey at Glynde Place. Which is great as it is only 4 miles away. It is a wonderful country house with amazing grounds. They obviously have gardeners - the vegetable garden is huge and the gardens really well planted and looked after - look at the stripes in that grass! My observation spot was by the pool looking at the building behind it - it does have a maternity roost in it - but it is very difficult see as they dont come out until after sunset and it was really cloudy! But the views over to Mount Cabern are amazing!
