Beech hanger

On to the next assignment which is putting together a woodland management plan. I am partnering with George on this - which is great. But we cant visit the site until Thursday afternoon so as it was a nice morning Robin and I went over there this morning. It is a lovely beech hangar wood - very typical of the area. It looks like they have a good volunteer team who are doing quite a bit of work on it - very interesting to take a look around and gives me a much better idea of the site. Afterwards we went into Stroud to take a look around. Its known as a rather hippy place and did seem a bit like that - some interesting shops but nothing really stood out - won't be rushing back.
