Binoculars!

Boxing day 2020

My lovely family bought me Avalon 10x42 binoculars for Christmas. Robin and I went out for a walk today - everyone else is out with their children playing on Christmas bikes and scooters - I was practising with my binoculars!

I cant tell you how excited I was to see a nuthatch. A few months ago I didnt even know they existed, then I knew they were a thing but wouldn't know what they looked like. Today I saw one and recognised it. The binoculars are great - I will definitely be using them a lot!
