Bird boxes!

We spent a useful Boxing day putting together two bird boxes. Finished them off today as we were missing a few bits - dont they look great! So proud of them - who knew that we could do that! They will be going up in the garden tomorrow and we will let you know how successful they are. They need to be put up north/east facing (not too much sun, not too much wind), 2 - 4m high and while they need to be secluded they also need a clear path to the opening. We have used two different sized openings - 28mm - for blue tits and small birds - and 32mm for great tits, sparrows and slightly larger birds. Lets see what we get!
