Birthday!

Its my birthday! So I had to change the blog heading - Ruth's Ramblings sounds about right!!

What a lovely day. Wonderful flowers from Anne - the cats have taken a bit of interest in them but we are patrolling them carefully! A flowers lego set from Charlotte and Elliott. It comes in 787 pieces. I have made the roses and daisies so far - when they are finished I will post a picture! And a call with the lovely Libby - and her parents Tom and Laura of course!! She looked gorgeous in a white bobble hat - so grown up!!

Birthdays are difficult at the best of times in January - its always cold so you cant go outside and too close to Christmas to really be bothered. But with lockdown its easy for it to be the same as any other day! So we had a special meal as well in the evening - cocktails all round and lobster thermidore (thanks Robin), triple cooked chips (thanks Chris) and salad (me!).

Finished with a good film - Minority Report - Tom Cruise looking very young and one of his best films we all think!
