Builders!

Tuesday 4th June 2023

Up at 6 to put on the last of the drying and tidy up ready for the builders. They turned up at various times between 815 and 930. I stayed around to speak to them and also Abi from the interior designers. I eventually got to work about 1030 and felt like I had doe a whole days work already! I took some before and after shots from today - basically they just ripped everything out today and put it in our back garden. Its going to be a long 6 weeks! Tom and Laura had parents evening at the nursery today so we went over there to look after the girls. We did a great job, fed them bathed them but the getting to sleep eluded us. I was very disappointed as Freya goes to sleep straight away for me during the day - not the same at night! Robin did a great job reading bedtime stories to Libby so at least he had some success. Still its a new challenge that we have taken on - getting them to bed before Tom and Laura get back so that they dont have to do anything!!
