Busy day!

Over to mums today for a visit - we brought chicken liver parfait, pears from the garden and cake from Whitby! Mum and Dorothy seem well. Mums Parkinsons nurse was was also there today, it was good to sit in with her and mum - mum's Parkinsons seems to be moving slowly so no change really (which is great!). We had a lovely lunch with them and Robin put the robins nest box back up in the tree. Then off home to clear out the storage - all empty - now we just need to sort out the house! These hollyhocks are in flower in the pavement in our street. Firstly I dont know how they survive - the plant is huge - also why is it flowering so much in October - it is a beautiful suprise to us all! Later Robin spotted an old guy pruning a very large plant on this wall. He was really struggling and in danger of having a nasty accident. Robin went over to help him and managed to persuade him to stop - good job - that was definitely an accident waiting to happen!
