Busy day

Friday 1st March 2024

Tom is coming over later to pick up our king sized bed - it is on the first floor spare room and is too big for the room. So this morning we emptied the contents of the bed base into the other room and wrestled the mattress downstairs - not actually as difficult as we thought - gravity helped!

Emily the garden designer came round with the second version of the plan - which factors in the fact that we cant dig in the garden so everything will be raised beds!! Although it will be more expensive I actually think that it will be better - more variation in heights of plants will make it more interesting!

Then Tom came round with a van and Robin and he sorted out the bed and a dresser that he needed to pick up in Worthing. I stayed with Laura and the girls - Freya had chilli and pasta for dinner and I think she wore more of it than she ate!! Got back home and went straight to the pub - where we found a load of our neighbours and had a lovely evening!! And I ordered a new bed!!
