Cats are outside!

Today is the day! We let the cats out the back of the house! I sent a picture of them in Whatsapp to all our neighbours and got a barrage of well wishes and pictures of their cats! Freya and Loki took it well - they were out for about 45 minutes and explored our neighbours gardens but didnt go very far. They dont know anything about the outside so they need to get used to other cats and dogs and the world outside our house! So far so good - we were very nervous and stayed outside the whole time. The plan is to increase the amount of time over the next few days and then get the cat flap working!

We are also deciding what to do with our front path - it is currently concrete slabs and looks really ugly. But we will need planning permission for any change as we are in a conservation area so we also spent part of today walking up and down our street looking at other peoples paths! These seem to be the two choices. I like both of them so we will see what the planning officer thinks!
