Cheltenham

More assignment work early in the morning then we decided to take the bus to Cheltenham. I cant remember the last time we took a bus! The stop is 5 minutes from our house and 45 minutes later we were in the centre of Cheltenham. Its a great town for shopping so we set about doing some Christmas shopping - I think we did fairly well and I enjoyed browsing in all the shops - not sure about Robin!

Robin persuaded me to go into the East India Cafe for lunch Home - East India Cafe. I was not sure - it was in the basement of one of Cheltenhams many terraced houses and didnt look that great. How wrong I was - it was amazing - we had a lovely 2 course lunch for about £23 each, together with amouse bouche and palate cleansers - great food and service. It would be good to go back there for an evening meal when they have the full menu on.
