Christmas Markets

We got up today and walked the 5 metres to the Spanish Horseriding show - we had booked to see them practicing in the morning. Strictly no photos inside - it was really interesting to see what the were doing - next time I will go and see the show itself. Then off to Welcome to DEMEL - K.u.K. Hofzuckerbäcker Wien – Demel Wien which was about 10 meters in the other direction! It is one of the famous Viennese cafes which normally had an enormous queue but we had a bit of luck and got in within 5 minutes. We both had Viennese cakes and some coffee - delicious! Then off to more Christmas markets - I managed to get another cup and must stop collecting them now! After lunch at the market we found HOME | loosbar it was absolutely amazing, such a beautiful bar and the cocktails were amazing as well. In the evening we went to the biggest Christmas market in Europe - and it really was no expense spared. I think we have had enough of Christmas markets now though - all the present are bought and there is a limit to how much mulled wine you can drink in two days!!
