Curtains (at last!)

Firstly a call with George as we finished out assignment. We submitted it at about 9am then I went into university to wrestle with more insects. But I wasnt happy with the assignment - more complicated when it is a joint effort - so I reworded a fe paragraphs and then asked George to resubmit it - luckily he is pretty laid back so all was OK and I feel better! After doing three pots of insects I had had enough so went home and Robin and I decided that it was about time we put up some curtains - incentivised by the cold weather that is coming later this week. After much measuring, drilling and cutting we have two curtains up - which look great. But they dont go with the rug that I brought from Wokingham that obviously wasn't thought about when I ordered the curtains!! I find it annoying but will live with it for a bit - at least it should be warmer!

We decided to go for a quick drink in the Plough as it was its first proper open evening. And I found these promotional photos on the local papers website - pretty good photo I think!
