Cyrano

I went with mum over to the hospital this afternoon for her 6 monthly Parkinson's check up. I went with her 6 months ago and found it really good to see the difference over that time. A few small changes but nothing drastic and no need at the moment to increase her medication.

Later in the evening Robin and I went over to the Everyman to watch Cyrano. When we got there we were the only one in the cinema and that's the way it stayed! A private screening! I highly recommend going to see it, a great film.

There is a very powerful scene where 3 soldiers are sent to the front and know that they will die. They write last letters to their loved ones and sing them (its a musical!). Tears were flowing after about 2 seconds! It made me think of all those people in Ukraine at the moment who must feel much the same. I wonder if they are writing letters?
