Day 6 VILA Nova de Cerveira

Wednesday 30th April 2025

I sat out in the balcony last night reading a book and watching the surfers. What a lovely place! Got badly bitten by a mosquito though so today I am very itchy!! We set off at the normal time, today it is going to rain for the first time on this trip and the clouds are gathering! The harbour has several of these strange beacons and when we stop for coffee the cafe has this beautiful tiled picture of it! Robin likes to strike a pose with all the statues on the way, so here he is as a pilgrim!

Talking of pilgrims, how’s this for a bin! We loved it, why can’t we have more like this in the uk? Today we are walking to Caminha along the coast and then turning inland. So last views of the sea , another lovely chur
