Robin took Chris down to Brighton - there was so much stuff in the car its just as well that I wasn't going! They called me when they got there so I got a live update - his flatmates seem Ok which is the most important thing!
I spent the first half of the day tidying the house - just finding something to do I think when they had all gone.
Then I relaxed a bit and sat in the garden for the afternoon - what a lovely day. We brought the red indian in the picture back from Malaysia with us - he is looking good in the garden! The sun hasn't been out for so long that I underestimated it - sun burnt legs!! Wont do that again for a bit, painful!!
On Friday we watched The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009 version with Denzel Washington and John Travolta) its a great film and I do recommend watching it. I hadn't realised that there was an original 1974 version so we watched that today. It has Walter Matthau in it. It is probably the most racist, sexist film that I can remember watching. It also had no backstory and no character building - terrible film - do not watch it! But it makes me wonder if most films of that era were the same? I am not prepared to research it!!
