Eastbourne

The model is coming along - it does have lights in it which is what I am worried about now - slow and steady!! In the afternoon we went to Eastbourne by train, Robin had to give some blood so we decided to go to the Towner Gallery and see the Turner exhibition. It was disappointing to say the least and we decided that we just didnt get it. There were 4 artists and only one made any sense to us Barbara Walker — Towner Eastbourne her drawings of the Windrush scandal - they were excellent. Obviously she wasnt the winner! I actually liked the sculpture outside the gallery (made of Iraqi date syrup cans!) Michael Rakowitz The invisible enemy should not exist (Lamassu of Nineveh) — Towner Eastbourne. We went to our favourite bookshop in Eastbourne which is a health and safety nightmare - you cannot be overweight and walk around the shop!!
