Eco Home Extravaganza!

Its the big day (I felt a bit sick last night but really positive about it this morning, we have prepared so much!). Up early and into the office then round to the back of the hall at 8am to set up - but no the gates are locked. The person who locked up last night took the keys with them!! We managed to sort it out - although there was one point when we thought there would be no lights but all Ok in the end! It all ran really smoothly, the stallholders were great - mostly much better than I was expecting - and we filled the hall up! We had about 250 people and they stayed for ages talking to the suppliers so it was very successful. We did miscalculate the cakes though - normally when events are run in the town hall everyone sits down for tea and cakes but this time I think they were so busy talking that they didnt eat! Not to worry though we gave all the left overs to the foodbank on Monday. We packed up and finished about 445 then over to Hassocks to feed the cats for Tom and Laura. When we got back we just went to the pub and had food there - well deserved after a long day!
