Farm cluster meeting

Today I attended the North East Cotswolds Farm Cluster meeting at Farm Ed. It was a great opportunity to meet some of the farmers and landowners in the catchment area. There were breakout sessions and one of the subjects was Social - education and community engagement. Really interesting to hear what people had to say - mostly very positive about the need to educate the public, maybe needing some help to do that as they were not sure how. Always the question around funding though - they are all businesses and cant afford to do anything for free. A great start to working with them. We had lunch provided by Farm Ed who have a big focus on good food from their own farm. This was a pumpkin risotto - how beautiful is it? and also delicious.
