Football!

Mothers day today and Robin got me this card, which lights up - its amazing!! The weather was so lovely that we walked up to the South Downs for the first time from the house. It only took 10 minutes to get to the top of the cliffs above Lewes and see this amazing view - the swirl is the Railway Land Nature Reserve. If you know where to look you can see Lewes Castle and also one of the windmills. Beautiful! Possibly more importantly today though was the football. Lewes Ladies against Man Utd in the FA cup quarter final. I am an owner of the club (£40 per year!) so managed to get tickets and so did Tom. He came over to the house with a mothers day present of a Lewes Town football scarf - I was so happy! Then off to watch the football. It was a capacity crowd of 2800 and very much a family atmosphere. We lost 3-1 but they did really well to get this far, Man Utd have three England players on their team so they were a class above and deserved to win! Next time Tom is going to bring Libby over and we will see what he thinks about football!!
