Freya is 7 months old today and Laura took this lovely photo of her - isnt she gorgeous? I had a good day at work today - sorted out a few things for the Church Commission and then gave a couple of my colleagues an overview of Biodiversity Net Gain and how to do the baseline survey. Great to feel that I am contributing something! This evening there was a change of plan on the bat survey - instead of going to Feltham I needed to go to Bexhill (so much better!!). We were surveying a tree which was in a large field next to a set of new build flats. A local family had set up a small tent and BBQ near where I was doing the survey. The children kept me entertained for quite a while before they had to go to bed. Sadly there were no bats to show them. Back home by 2245 - which is a result!
