Gardening!

I went for a swim at Saltdean Lido this morning it was a beautiful sunny day but still very cold - but lots of people were there which was good to see. Then we went over to Toms for the day to help out in the garden. We were putting in the vegetable beds - 4 need to go in made of railway sleepers. It is very hard work - digging, gravelling and making sure that everything was flat!! We managed to get two beds in and they do look really good. We will be back next Sunday to finish off the last two - its not a job that someone can do on their own! We also had a lovely Sunday roast while we were there - very good!

When we got back we had to go to the Men's Shed to drop off some keys for their new place, which is very exciting they are starting to move i a few weeks! On the way back we dropped in the Elephant and Castel - a pub that is very well know for its burgers. I did like the rugby burger menu - but not sure how many of the Scottish ones they are going to sell!
