Good news

We have had some clarification on our self isolation - the person actually tested positive on Monday 12th October - which means that we are allowed out on Monday 26th October. All sorts of questions still - Why didnt they tell us earlier? Why arent our lecturers isolating? Hey ho - only 5 days to go - hurrah!

It has been 5 days so far - and I am so grateful for this cottage - I cant imagine having to self isolate in one room like they are doing on campus.

It is impossible to reach my 10,000 steps per day - today I went into the field next door (pictured) - its only gated access is into my garden so I am counting it as my garden! but its actually a small triangle of pretty long grass so didnt help!

5 days in and what do I wish I had brought? Slippers - my feet are cold. Onions and some more vegetables - didnt think that one through with the shopping list. My cats - that would have been great - I am starting to talk to myself.
