Grandchildren day

Monday 13th January 2025

Off to Hassocks today to look after Libby and Freya. After we dropped Libby at school we went over to Worthing to look after James as well while Charlotte went to the dentist. He was asleep in the pushchair to start with but woke up 10 minutes after Charlotte left. I sang to him for a bit but after another 15 minutes he really wasnt convinced by that so we went home to Robin and Freya. After a few tears he got used to us all and we had a lovely time - then when Charlotte got back we all went out for a walk around the park. Then back to Hassocks to pick up Libby from school, take her to dance class and then home.

The evening was a nightmare though, I planned to take Robin home then drive back to Plumpton for work - we had a talk going on in the evening. Two problems - there was an accident on the A27 so Lewes was gridlocked (in the end Robin had to leave the car and walk home while I escaped out another way!) then in Plumpton UKPN had emergency work and had road closed signs all over the one road through town!! I got there eventually but I am sure that it put people off. A bit of a stressful evening but all sorted out in the end!

No good pictures from today but these are the cushions that the children got me for my birthday - and they look great!
