Happy Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!! We had a list and timetable for Christmas lunch today, it worked really well! My job was to make the cherry tart for pudding so I was up first to get that out of the way - it looks good and tastes great! We also took the opportunity to chat to Chris and Ella in New Zealand - they are 13 hours ahead which is quite a time difference! They are doing really well and it was lovely to take a look round their new place in Picton. Then we had breakfast and got down to the main job of opening the presents - we all got some great ones - Robin is very taken with his new fleece top and is wearing it as much as possible! We talked to Charlotte, Tom and their families (they are all at Bryans for Christmas), it would be great to be all together for Christmas next year I do miss having everyone around (although being at Annes is also great). Then we went for a short walk and onto making the dinner. Anne and Derek had Taskmaster crackers, which kept us entertained over lunch - Anne won!! Then the classic Christmas movie - a Muppet Christmas Carol and generally eating lots more food!! Thats how Christmas should be!
