Happy January Birthdays

At last we managed to all get together to celebrate our January birthdays! Unfortunately Laura couldn't make it as Libby isn't very well - we missed her, but it gives us an excuse to try again another time! We started out at a cocktail bar (20) Bar Medusa | Facebook, in a secret basement room that we all struggled to find! Great cocktails - although the chilli margherita was very hot!! Then we went on to Due South and our private dining room! Private Dining — Due South (duesouthrestaurant.co.uk) It was a lovely meal - 6 courses including an oyster course, even I ate 2! Amazing food and a wonderful birthday meal - finishing with a lovely birthday cake - I had just about run out of room - but Tom says he has a second stomach for desserts and he proved it. He now goes by the name 'dessert boy'. Happy birthday to four of us. Elliott and Ruth - 8th January, Robin - 19th January, Charlotte - 25th January. And as you can see it is Charlotte and Elliott's 30th as well!
