Hello again! I stopped writing my blog while we were on holiday in Whitby. I ended up in hospital for the toothache - it was very traumatic and extremely painful, and never started again as I always feel that I need to catch up! A quick roundup since then.
I have been doing a lot more crafty things! I made Libby a needle felted unicorn for her birthday - I love it but dont think needle felting is for me! I sewed a chore jacket - just finished last week and very proud of that. I have been doing a lot of knitting - a jumper and hat so far and now just started the one above - very complicated and I am sure you will be hearing more about that! I have continued with the gig rowing and am loving it! I also volunteer as walk assistant for the Railwayland Wildlife Trust - a walk every Friday in a beautiful place while chatting to people -not too hard! I processed on bonfire night - which was an experience - so loud I thought I would go deaf!! The house and garden are just about finished, and looking beautiful. Mum has come to stay a few times - the last time we went to Kew on the way back and looked at Dads tree - which has grown enormously since we last saw it.
More importantly we have spent a lot of time with our children and grandchildren. It is such a joy to be able to see them all on a regular basis. James is nearly 6 months old now and so big (and handsome of course)! Libby has started school and we drop her off and pick her up on Mondays which we love! Freya is a whirlwind and will be 2 very soon! Chris and Ella have just rented a flat in Hove and are moving in as we speak. Chris also started a new job, working in a vineyard. which is really cool and he loves it. Thats a quick update - and I have missed out a lot as well !
On to 2025! I have decided to get back to the blogging - I will do better than last year! We plan to walk the Camino in April and May - and are doing a lot of walking to make sure that we are fit to do it! I will finish the jumper! I have been doing more exercise and plan to keep that up as well.
Happy New Year to you all!
