Hedgelaying

Got a lift with Ian, one of Robins friends from the Mens Shed to the South Downs volunteering location today - for a bit of hedgelaying. I have done it before and actually it was easier this time - the last time there was more gap than hedge, this time if anything it was too thick - worked hard all day but we did a really good job - very satisfying to see the lovely hedge at the end!! I forgot to say yesterday that I wen for a chat with Ovesco about a job, I know a few of them from my work at the Climate Hub. It was a good meeting and it would be great to work for them - they have a lot of interesting things coming up that I think I could help with. We will see whether they come back to me - fingers crossed.

In the evening I did an hour at Jane's house for our craft evening and then off with Robin to watch the ladies football - Lewes lost 1 - 0, but played much better than the last time we saw them - so overall it was positive!!
