Homemade crispy pork!

At last! We have had the tent in the hall for the last 6 weeks waiting for a day that we can take it out and dry it before putting it away for winter. Today is that day! Dry, clean and ready for next years adventures!

Tomorrow Chris goes into hospital for a minor operation and he has been self isolating since Friday. Tonight we had a lovely Chinese meal to send him on his way! Roast pork (hum hum), rice and sea spicy aubergines - all lovely. Before that we had some dim sum - home made siu mei - very tasty but we need a different pastry - we used the ones from the chinese supermarket but they are too big and also too thick - might have to make them ourselves next time! Still not bad for a first attempt - and not much left over!
