House repairs

Its been a busy few days but the houses is looking much better. We have broadband! We have beds! I built a 30 piece jigsaw light shade - following youtube instructions - still took ages! The kitchen is looking good - a new breakfast bar and mirror, plus a working washing machine. Robin has started sanding down the kitchen tops - that will take a few weeks to sort out! The plumber came round and fixed the leak and replaced the leaky kitchen tap. We discovered that indoor aerials don't work here so someone is coming round next week to sort out a TV aerial for us - until then its BBC iplayer on the laptop! We put up a new light in the sitting room plus those fancy light bulbs that you can control on your phone. They took ages (literally hours) to sort out - but Robin grudgingly admitted yesterday that they look really good!

And the university timetable came out - still a few modules to be added but there is much more face to face teaching and outdoor study - which is great. Looking forward to starting again!
