In the classroom

I don't think I ever thought that I would be teaching primary school children. Well today that day came! A lovely class of 30 years 5 and 6 who we gave a 2 hour lesson on the animals and people around the river. I was pretty nervous about it but it went really well - thanks to my two partners Ros and Rowan who are much more experienced teachers than me. As ever they were amazing and the kids had a wonderful time. I discovered that you can entertain children with water experiments all day long and they wont get bored!

Afterwards we walked down to the River Evenlode as in two weeks time Ros and Rowan are taking the children down there to do more work with them. Unfortunately I will miss it but I now they will have a wonderful time!
