Back to Lake 32 Open Water Swimming - Lake 32 at last today. I almost chickened out - it looked cold outside, I have lots of work to do etc etc !! But I put my wetsuit on and got in the car! They definitely have more people swimming than they did last year - the good thing is that they have increased their safety requirement. So I had to hire a tow float and just use the 100m course as it was my first time there this year. Actually I think that is fair enough so now I need to decide if I am going to buy my own tow float - probably a good idea. Anyway the water was a very hot 13.3 degrees C and I did 900m - really enjoyed myself.

And I submitted my soil assignment at 07:55 this morning - so a good day all round!

13.3 degrees is hot? How thick is your wetsuit? It looks like a 3mm.

Wow!!! 7 degrees. I've been looking into diving again here and was considering to get a 7mm wetsuit to brave the 18 degree waters. Now it sounds like an overkill :)
